Nirvan lives in the majestic foothills of the Himalayas. Raised as a Hindu, he gave his life to Christ three years ago. Since then, many people have come to the Lord through his testimony, and he is their pastor. Learning of the GLOMOS training program, Nirvan traveled 50 miles on foot to reach the center where the modules were being taught.
Asked how he could walk so far to be trained, Nirvan replied with a smile, “This is not a problem. I have established five churches in three years, and I have my services on weekdays. Every church is roughly 30 miles apart, so I cover that distance every day. This means climbing mountains, crossing rivers, walking and running too. I hold the services from Monday through Friday, running every day to the next place. We don’t meet on Saturday and Sunday!”
Nirvan is just one of the thousands of pastors in Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Ukraine, Honduras and El Salvador who have been trained through the GLOMOS program in the last ten years. Passionate about serving the Lord, these leaders usually work full time in secular jobs to support themselves, and can only attend classes part-time. This is why GLOMOS is so effective! It allows pastors and leaders to attend classes three days a month for ten months!
These three days are packed with practical, relevant information in a classroom of 65 people, often from 35-40 different denominations. Each student, on average, trains another five using the same material. The exponential growth in their churches after graduation is astounding!

Arabind Balmiki: It’s a whole year since I graduated, and I only have a little more than 100 new people who have turned their lives over to Christ in my church! Before they were Hindus, Muslims or pagans, but now they live for Him. I just wish I could do so much more!
Simferopol, Crimea
Ekaterina Miturina: Through GLOMOS I learned so much about relating to young people and gained experience in leading youth to Christ. I was able to teach what I learned to five lay people, and three became church leaders. Now I am a youth pastor in the City of Light church and am responsible for the spiritual development of 230 young people.
San Pedro Sula, Honduras
José Jordan: Through GLOMOS I found a new concept of the body of Christ as I spent time with pastors and ministers of other denominations. Now I have launched a “leadership school” in my church and have trained over 300 leaders. These include four pastors of churches I planted, three since GLOMOS. I also started the only ministry for deaf people in my city, where we have special services in sign language and a special school for deaf people. Since GLOMOS, my church has grown from 700 to 1,400 members. The four church plants now have a total of 1,300 members.

Andrea Paz Torres: I never thought GLOMOS was going to be such a blessing in my life. As the only Christian in my family, I hated to see my family worshiping statues - other gods. I argued with them because nobody wanted to accept Jesus as their Savior. Through GLOMOS, I realized how many ‘other gods’ I had. Now I talk to my family with a different attitude, about God’s love for all of us. By faith, I see my whole family converted to the Jesus I learned about in GLOMOS. I am training seven others, sharing what I learn each month.
